First thing you must do is go to your app depository and search for the YouTube creator studio app. YT Studio app
Download the app and sign into your account using your YouTube credentials.
Once logged into your account within the app navigate to the video that you wish to edit and upload a new thumbnail image.
To do that click on the top menu at the upper left corner and select videos.
Scroll to the video you wish to upload or edit your thumbnail image on.
Click into the video
And look for the pencil icon to the top left of your video.
Click that and it will take you to a new page.
On this page, the current thumbnail image for your video you will be visible.
Click on the image and it will open a new page giving you options to upload and change your current YouTube thumbnail image.
You have the choice of choosing the auto generated thumbnails that YouTube generates or to upload your own custom graphic.
Here I am going to upload a custom graphic for my new thumbnail image.
To do that I will select ‘change’
This will then display the options to select from the images stored on my mobile device.
Scroll to and select your custom image and click on that.
Then click on ‘Select’ in the upper right of the screen.
And finally click to save.
Your edits will be saved
